Born in Ireland with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD), a condition where my leg didn’t develop the same
way as most people’s, I hold a BA degree in Media Production & Film Making from Wolverhampton University. My journey through various professional domains, from documentary making and marketing to content creation and social media management, has been diverse and enriching. Notably, I’ve added a touch of humor to people’s lives as a part of one of Ireland’s most popular YouTube channels, The Try Channel.
PFFD meant growing up with a leg that’s different, but it also became a source of strength and inspiration.
Wearing prosthetics throughout my life, I’ve gained a profound understanding of the challenges associated with
it. Now, at Limb Lab, a cause close to my heart, I bring not just professional expertise but a personal perspective
that’s shaped by my experiences with limb loss.
In my role as Director of Social Media at Limb Lab, my commitment to making a meaningful impact extends
beyond the technical aspects of my role. I firmly believe that humor is a powerful force that brings joy and helps
people navigate challenges. Life’s better with a smile, and I strive to infuse that positivity into everything I do. In
the cutting-edge environment at Limb Lab, where technology meets humanity, I combine my passion for
prosthetics with my creative prowess to enhance the user’s experience.
Everyone has a unique story, and I am fervent about helping share those stories. Growing up without my right leg, I learned to be resourceful and think creatively. This ingenuity permeates every aspect of my work. As I assist
others through social media ventures and in-person interactions, I bring not just expertise but a genuine desire to make people smile and see the bright side of life. I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of Limb Lab, and I’m
honored to contribute to a team that’s making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
