What I love about this field are the lasting relationships we build with our clients. It is a privilege to work with and learn from the people who come through our door. We often see clients encountering some of the hardest
obstacles they will face in their lives; to be able to provide support in those journeys – with the right tools and
collaboration – is the most rewarding feeling.
I’ve always had a passion for working with my hands and helping people. I first studied athletic training at the
University of Northern lowa. It was during my time there that I met an amputee who worked in the field and
encouraged me to pursue the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
I went on to receive my Master of Science in Prosthetics & Orthotics Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. My husband and I were both born and raised in lowa (Go Hawks!), and I completed both residencies and worked in lowa for several years before leading a Limb Lab team in Mankato, Minnesota. I am excited to return home to
lowa, to co-lead Limb’s Des Moines office, and to be a part of a team that centers around collaboration,
innovation, and creativity.
