I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad
where I studied Biomedical Engineering with a focus on biomechanics. During undergrad I had a large interest in
prosthetics, but no classes were offered. Upon graduation I moved to Chicago, Illinois where I worked for a
hospital repairing all the medical equipment. After a few years in that industry, I knew I wasn’t passionate about
it. After some deep self-reflection, I finally took a leap of faith and entered the prosthetics & orthotics industry as a clinical assistant. I immediately loved it and all of my curiosities of the profession had been validated. The next
steps were to earn my master’s degree in O&P, which I earned at Northwestern University. Graduating in the spring of 2023 led me to pursue my residency and career with Limb Lab in Scottsdale, Arizona.
