My name is Jenna Neugebauer. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota, so at an early age I knew I wanted a job in which I could work with my hands. When it came time to choose a career, I was drawn to physical therapy. While shadowing a physical therapist, I was introduced to an orthotist and scheduled a visit to their office. During that first visit I truly experienced an “ah-ha” moment that orthotics and prosthetics was an amazing field! I soon found that this field is the perfect combination of helping people and hands on work, making O&P the perfect fit. I love being able to problem solve with clients in order to improve their day-to-day life. At Limb Lab, I’ve enjoyed the team approach that we all take to solving problems, not only making our team strong but also giving the people we serve the best experience possible!
I completed my undergraduate degree at University of South Dakota, after which I moved to southern California to complete my master’s in O&P at California State University, Dominguez Hills. I’m excited to be back in the Midwest close to friends and family! I enjoy spending time outside hiking, reading, and exploring local breweries!
I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but headed west at 18 years old to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology. For 13 years, I moved around the west coast and beyond pursuing my career in marine mammal research and animal training. Eventually, I moved back to Minnesota to be near my family and decided it was time to begin a new path. I fell into the O&P field as result of my increasing interest in the human body and biomechanics, as well as a love for working with my hands. I obtained my Masters in Orthotics and Prosthetics. My journey has only enhanced my desire to keep learning, something I feel is key to being successful in the O&P field.
One of the things I truly appreciate about Limb Lab is the thick atmosphere of learning here, whether discovering new technologies or gaining knowledge from our clients on their experiences living with an orthotic or prosthetic device. The conversation is continuous between practitioner and client, which leads to long-term relationships. This field is a combination of art and science. By using both of those approaches, my goal is to provide not just a device for my clients, but an improved quality of life.
My name is Daniel Prusi, and I am currently completing my Prosthetic and Orthotic residency with Limb Lab in Minneapolis. After spending time in both the Mining and Print industry, I returned to school to find a new career path that would allow me to greater help and serve others.
After a chance meeting with an amputee and visiting local O&P facilities and institutions, I knew I had found my path. I soon enrolled in Century College’s OPCA program and finished an Undergrad degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics, followed by a Masters’s degree through Concordia University St.Paul. Along the way, I have been able to volunteer with multiple organizations providing prosthetic care in both my local community and internationally.
At Limb Lab, I enjoy our team approach, innovative thinking, broad experience base, and openness to new technologies to provide our clients with the best care and experience possible.
I was introduced to the P&O field through working and volunteering in various healthcare settings as well as teaching adaptive sports. I was able to see from many different angles how prosthetics and orthotics enhance people’s lives. I even experienced firsthand their effectiveness from having to wear a back brace as a teenager. After job shadowing for several days in the P&O field, I immediately knew this was the path I wanted to take. It is a profession that combines my love of biomechanics, relationship-centered care, and working with my hands. I feel privileged to work with and learn from the people that come into Limb Lab. There is such an emphasis on collaboration and creativity at Limb Lab which nurtures the process of exploring and discovering the most optimal, client-centered solutions. Hearing the stories of the individuals I serve and seeing their determination motivates me to work harder and do better every day to help them reach their goals.
While finishing my undergraduate degree at UW Eau Claire, I knew I wanted to go into the medical field but was not sure of which direction to choose. My first exposure to Orthotics & Prosthetics was shadowing at Limb Lab and I fell in love with the career. I love the idea of being creative, working with my hands, and at the same time helping people achieve their goals. Limb Lab is an innovative company with passionate people, and I look forward to helping people gain mobility and improve their everyday life.
Hello, my name is Brian. I am native to Saint Paul MN, where there are only two seasons: winter and construction. I was previously in the Army National Guard. During my last few years, I volunteered for events and had the opportunity to speak with veterans, some of whom were amputees. While engaging with them, I learned about prosthetics and orthotics and became interested in the field. I now work at Limb Lab as a Certified Prosthetic Technician.
I love that I am always learning in my role as a technician. I enjoy collaborating with my peers, to create improved prostheses or orthoses, and having the opportunity to see them on a patient.
My name is Taylor, and I am the medical coordinator at Limb Lab Minneapolis. I enjoy being at the front desk to make everyone that walks into Limb Lab feel comfortable and welcomed.
I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my chocolate lab, Coco. During my free time I enjoy gardening, photography, and being at the lakes when it is nice out.
