PROSTHETIC AND ORTHOTIC TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Limb Lab is seeking a full-time Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician who loves working hard and being part of a professional and agile team. No certification will be required; however, experience in O & P is preferred. As a part of the Limb Lab team, you will enjoy modern office settings, and career growth opportunities.

What you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Work with various types of laminations, thermoplastic forming and fabrication of a wide variety of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
  • Machine maintenance.
  • Assist in and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Communicate/collaborate with clinicians.
  • Set inventory par levels and reorder orthotics and prosthetics, and cleaning products.
  • Assist in management of comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patient care.
  • Create and maintain a strong working relationship with vendors and members of clients’ comprehensive care teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Possess excellent hand-skills and have mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
