Kayla Heimer is a Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician at Limb Lab in Rochester, Minnesota. Inspired by her grandfather, an amputee who proudly showed off his prosthesis, Kayla always knew she wanted to make patients feel confident and empowered. She approaches every project with care and precision to ensure the highest level of quality and personalization. 

Kayla holds a Health Sciences degree from the University of Minnesota Rochester and completed Prosthetic Technology training at Century College. She especially enjoys when clinicians bring patients into the lab, giving her the chance to share the craftsmanship behind their device. 

Originally from southeastern Minnesota, Kayla is proud to serve her local community.  

Outside of work, she spends time on her family’s hobby farm caring for animals, gardening, and making memories with her husband and two kids.
